**TITLE: Business Development Manager**

**LOCATION: Halifax, NS**

**TRAVEL**: As Required

**MANDATE: Grow business within assigned sales territory**

**REPORTING TO: Director of Sales Administration**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sell all floor coverings (tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, etc.) to medium and large developers**:

- **Grow revenue within assigned geographical territory**:

- **Build relationships with local builders and construction community**:

- **Report and act on emerging market opportunities**:

- **Manage builder’s expectations and monitor job progress and deliverables**:

- **Make pre-determined number of sales calls, cold calls and client entertainments per week**:

- **Achieve maximum attainable revenue and gross profit margins with an aggressive sales budget**:

- **Position QSG value proposition to all target accounts**:

- **Actively log activity, opportunities, and contacts into CRM**:

- **Build and maintain positive vendor relationships**:

- **Learn and understand project workflow from bid to installation**:

- **Identify challenges and opportunities that exist in target market as well as opportunities for improvement**

**Education Qualifications / Experience Requirements**:_(List minimum qualifications experience required for the role)_
- Min 5 years progressive sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree, College Diploma or equivalent experience as required
- Valid driver’s license and automobile

**Computer/IT Skills**:

- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
- Must have ability to quickly learn computer systems required to execute job function.

**Management Ability**:Ability & willingness to lead and grow a regional team

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
