The Status Certificate Specialist will be responsible for administering and processing status certificate requests under the Condo Act for the communities managed by FirstService Residential Ontario. In addition, the Status Certificate Specialist will handle and resolve inquiries from customers, while liaising with internal teams to gather required details as required.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

The Status Certificate Specialist will be a highly motivated self-starter who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Resale team by:

- Processing high volume of status certificate requests from unit owners, realtors, and lawyers.
- Gathering and verifying required information for status certificates, per the Condo Act.
- Track and ensure delivery deadlines are met, per service levels.
- Follow up on outstanding information relating to process
- Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards
- Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
- Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.
- May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
- Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned..

**Education & Experience**
- Associate degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-3 years in administration and customer service experience in a service industry setting.
- Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel, etc.).
- Ability to learn and navigate new technology platforms.
- Administration experience and customer service is preferred
