**Department Overview**

The M&A and CEIT team is part of the Marketing Strategy, Creative Services & Enablement. responsible for supporting all stages of mergers, acquisitions & divestiture (deals) on behalf of Marketing, starting with due diligence. This team also oversees the Customer Employee Impact Team (CEIT) providing Marketing support to Regions within Canada for CEIT incidents and if required support the US CEIT team. As part of Marketing, the M&A and CEIT team operates in a Flexible Hybrid return to office model.

Reporting to the Fred Linett the Senior Marketing Manager, acts as a highly seasoned professional within their own area of specialty, leading cross-functional teams, or projects, and manages the development and execution of marketing integration plans and programs by designing and delivering marketing integration or CEIT solutions consistent with TD’s marketing standards and strategies.
- Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures Support: Manages development all due diligence requirements and deliverables on behalf of marketing. If the deal moves forward, provide Marketing support for stages of mergers, acquisitions & divestiture from deal announcement through to conversion.
- CEIT Support: Support any CEIT Canadian Incidents, including participating in regional meeting. Act as triage & primary incident lead for potential risk-event; makes strategy recommendation to CEIT Chair to monitor an event, engage Core CEIT team, invoke as necessary.
- BCM Support: Support Business Continuity Management requests including partnering with TECE BCM Team and Marketing colleagues for periodic plan updates and testing activities as required
- Business Management Support: Support Business Management efforts including: MCX premises, MCX concierge team, and support key business operations including day-to-day operations/on-site needs/requirements, on/offboard management, EA support model, and ad hoc requests
- Build and Protect the Brand: Ensure M&A support the brand and are designed for a positive customer experience for both M&A and CEIT. Understand customer experience through either a deal or a crisis incident. Supports the integration team/Regional team to deliver the brand through customer experience.
- Analysis and Problem Solving: Use critical thinking to exercise judgement and identify the problem to solve, engage stakeholders from different groups to gather data and draw insights from it. Leverage data combined with judgment and intuition to make recommendations and drive action.
- Influencing and relationship management: Build and manage strong relationships with Business Units, Regional Partners, Marketing Partners, Legal and Compliance, and other internal teams to deliver effective marketing programs.

**Job Requirements**
- Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
- 7+ years relevant experience
- A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communications skills to influence, prioritize and multi-task in a collaborative or independent setting
- Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing principles and disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, and product/customer markets and proven ability to drive business results
- Experienced in relationship management, work collaboratively, and build relationships across teams and functions including agency and internal partners
