The Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health at SickKids (CCMH at SickKids) is a child and youth mental health centre integrated with The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). CCMH at SickKids is a key member of the Toronto Infant Child and Youth Core Service Providers sector and brings a unique value proposition to the sector through its integration with SickKids Hospital. Driven by donor generosity, CCMH also offers a growing program of research and several clinical service innovations. CCMH at SickKids is located across two sites in Toronto and offers both in-person and virtual care to clients and their families, from prevention and early intervention through assessment, counselling and therapy and intensive services. We are also connected to the continuum of mental health services for children and youth supported by SickKids: the Brain and Mental Health Program, the SickKids TeleLink Mental Health Program, the SickKids CCMH Learning Institute and our online resources through AboutKidsHealth. Reporting to the Executive Director, and responsible for a portfolio comprised of Health Information Management, Information and Communication Technology, Analytics and Reporting and Risk Management, the Director of Quality, Analytics and Information Systems, (Director, QAI), oversees and administers quality assurance, regulatory and internal reporting and decision support, information technology and services, health record quality and administration and risk reporting, monitoring and mitigation. The Director, QAI builds and sustains an effective integrated team focused on implementation excellence and customer service. The Director, QAI maintains redundancy and integration of knowledge and skill across this team in support of business continuity and to ensure succession planning.

As a member of a high functioning, collaborative leadership group, the Director QAI advances GH-CCMH’s mission to achieve unprecedented outcomes in child and youth mental health through collaboration, innovation and partnership. In collaboration with and reporting to the Executive Director, the Director QAI is senior lead for strategic engagements related to data sharing and system of care quality improvement. This includes providing quality and analytics support and leadership in relation to system planning involving our lead agency, SickKids Hospital, the CAMH/SickKids Collaborative and our various other partnerships as appropriate.

The Director QAI is senior lead to ensure use of data reflects standards of practice related to equity and inclusivity and brings a people centred and anti-oppressive perspective to the collection, distribution and use of information. In this regard the Director QAI collaborates with the Director Client and Participant Services and with the Advance Practice Lead for Psychology and Interprofessional Practice.

The Director QAI supports consistency and data quality with respect to research and evaluation. In this respect, the Director QAI collaborates with the Research Scientist and the Research, Innovation and Evaluation Unit.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

In service of GH-CCMH’s mission to achieve unprecedented outcomes in child and youth mental health through collaborations, innovations and partnerships, the Director QAI provides the following,
- Leads the accreditation cycle with Accreditation Canada and ensures follow up and sustainability between site visits,
- Develops and implements a clear data governance framework to support equity, data quality and reliability,
- Oversees collection and reporting of sociodemographic data,
- Oversees and maintains annual Quality Improvement Plan,
- Provides routine and ad hoc responses to decision support data requests,
- Ensures all routine regulatory and governance reporting requirements are met,
- Oversees IT operations and planning, ensuring system continuity, compatibility, and security,
- Oversees Health Information System operations ensuring quality, security and sustainability,
- Maintains and reports on the organizational risk registry,
- Acts as complaints officer providing response, assessment, investigation, and reporting,
- Oversees critical incident investigations ensuring consistency, transparency, and fidelity to regulations and standards of practice,

- Prepares, monitors and reports on departmental budget and in year variance
