Le (la) spécialiste itinérance est intégré dans une équipe ayant pour but d’étendre et maintenir les réseaux nationaux voix, GSM, UMTS, LTE, IoT, 5G, VOLTE incluant la signalisation et le réseau Data disponibles et fonctionnels afin de servir nos clients en roaming et de fournir le meilleur service d’itinérance aux utilisateurs de d’autres pays.

Cette position technique, au sein de la Direction des Operations et de l’Ingénierie, exige des compétences spécifiques dans la compréhension et l’investigation des flux de service d’itinérance incluant une architecture IMS. En particulier, une habileté à isoler les plates-formes et éléments générant des fautes affectant le service. Le (la) spécialiste est guidé par des spécialistes seniors, and procède aux changements et modifications nécessaires avec précision.

Responsabilités
- Responsable de l’investigation et de la résolution des incidents d’itinérance internationale sur les technologies de réseaux actuelles et futures -incluant LTE, VOLTE, IMS et architectures IP- afin de continuer à fournir aux clients un service disponible de qualité.
- Responsable de l’investigation et de la résolution des incidents d’itinérance nationale au Canada
- Connaissances avancées et expérience Unix incluant la gestion et l’administration de plateformes de réseaux sans fils.
- Développer des méthodes proactives ainsi que générer des rapports dans le but de garantir la qualité du réseau et de délivrer une expérience client premium.
- Apporter des innovations dans le but de constamment améliorer l’expérience roaming des clients.
- Participer aux projets internes et aux activités de réseau introduisant de nouveaux services et fonctionnalités.
- Forte connaissance du protocole IP, avec une attention particulière sur l’investigation et la détection de menaces.
- Compréhension et maîtrise de l’infrastructure IMS et des flux d’itinérance associés (internationaux et domestiques).
- Exécution des tests IREG en coopération avec des opérateurs internationaux et domestiques. Ceci comprend la réalisation des IR24 / IR35 / IR50 / IR32 / IR38 / IR88 et tous autres tâches reliées à l’ouverture de l’itinérance basée sur d’autres technologies.
- La connaissance des plates-formes de réseaux télécom sans-fils (en particulier Ericsson) est un atout très désirable.
- Interface avec les groupes internes de Rogers NOC, TAC, affaires, ingénierie et technologie.
- Coopère et participe à l’implémentation et aux tests de nouveaux services et plateformes.
- Gestion du process d’escalade.
- Reporting sur une base journalière/hebdomadaire/mensuelle.
- Connaissance et pratique du protocole SIP.
- Connaissance de ANSI, ETSI, 3GPP et CCITT ainsi que des standards définis par l’association GSM.

Qualifications:

- Expérience en langage de programmation et création de script sur Python et Shell.
- Habilitées en gestion de taches automatisés (Cron) et d’indicateurs de performance (KPI).
- Expérience de travail dans un environnement technique d’itinérance internationale avec activités d’itinérance et expérience en soutien au niveau de l’opérateur sans-fil.
- Expérience dans l’industrie des fournisseurs de services de télécommunications à un niveau avancé.
- Expérience requise en outils de signalisation (connaissance du réseau de signalisation et maitrise des outils de trace et d’investigation)
- Connaissances avancées sur SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP et le protocole Diameter.
- Capacités et expérience démontrée en investigation analytique et résolution de problèmes est obligatoire
- Compréhension et théorie des concepts réseaux IMS 3GPP
- Capacités de communication (oral et écrit) et habilité à développer et maintenir des relations interpersonnelles sont obligatoires
- Capacités à travailler en mode 7/24/365 au sein d’un environnement dynamique, évolutif avec des priorités changeantes
- Environnement de travail francophone et anglophone
- Une bonne connaissance de l’anglais est requise comme ce rôle exige des communications régulières en anglais avec la clientèle et/ou des membres d’équipe situés dans d’autres provinces.
