BILD Central Alberta is a membership-based non-profit association that has been the leading voice of the residential construction industry in Central Alberta since 1956. We are dedicated to promoting the highest standards in the industry and supporting our members with valuable services, advocacy, events and networking opportunities. Our members include land developers, home builders, renovators, suppliers, trades, service professionals and others. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Event and Sponsorship Manager to join our team.

**Job Summary**:
As the Event and Sponsorship Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, executing and evaluating key events and sponsorship initiatives within a collaborative work environment. Your primary focus will be on the Red Deer Home Show, the Central Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing, Annual Golf Tournament and ensuring the successful fulfillment of sponsorship commitments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Event Planning and Execution:

- Work with a team and committee to plan, coordinate, and manage the Red Deer Home Show, Central Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing and other Association Events.
- Develop event timelines, budgets, promotions and other required strategies.
- Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, attendee management, on-site coordination.
- Complete marketing and communications to properly promote events and drive attendance.

Sponsorship Management:

- Identify, secure, and manage event sponsors.
- Develop sponsorship packages and proposals that align with sponsors’ needs and organizational goals.
- Ensure all sponsorship agreements are fulfilled and deliverables are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with sponsors and identify opportunities for future partnerships.

Membership Engagement:

- Collaborate with internal teams, committees, members, community partners and volunteers to listen for what members need.
- Act as the main point of contact for attendees, sponsors, exhibitors and others.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.

Event Evaluation:

- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, measure success and recommend future opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on event outcomes, including financial performance, attendee feedback and sponsorship satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes for future events.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in event planning and sponsorship management, preferably within the construction, non-profit or trade show industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships.
- Self starter and ability to work within a small team.
- Previous experience with non-profit Board of Directors.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Must have a Class 5 License.
