**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Community Partnership Manager is an integral part of a committed, hardworking, and small team. The incumbent is a motivated and authentic relationship builder with the ability to engage prospective and current partners and donors in the vital work of Dress for Success Central Alberta.

Key responsibilities include:

- Fundraising and business development
- Community partnership building
- Donor relations
- Donor database management

**Role Details**

Working with the Executive Director the position must meet or exceed targets pertaining to fundraising and partnership building, donor stewardship and cultivation efforts and revenue goals.
- **Community Engagement & Partnership Building **_
- Support organizational fundraising events and initiatives. This includes but is not limited to community partnerships, sponsorships and ticket sales.
- Work closely with the Executive Director to ensure marketing strategies and communications include focus and alignment with donor stewardship and development.
- Engage and develop relationships with service clubs including but not limited to Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs, Kinsmen Clubs, Optimist Clubs, etc.
- Attending events and doing presentations on behalf of DFSCA in support of funding opportunities.
- Identify and support corporate and individual engagement opportunities such as third-party fundraising initiatives.
- Establish collaborative working relationships with community groups, funders, politicians, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of DFSCA.
- **Donor Relations**_
- Coordinate the creation and implementation of a Donor Stewardship Matrix including the writing, development, and distribution of stewardship materials
- Identify prospects and seek out opportunities to grow and engage new donors.
- Coordinate and drive donation acknowledgements.
- **Database Management**_
- Oversee the creation and ongoing management of a donor database.
- Ensure all donors are recognized and that data is hygienic and effectively captured in accordance with CRA guidelines.
- Initiate database processes and procedures and coach colleagues in the updating and utilization of the donor database.

**Position Qualifications/Experience**:

- Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing or Fund Development. Equivalencies considered.
- Extremely passionate about non-profit organizations, and in particular about serving and empowering women to implement DFSCA mission.
- Experience in a sales, fund development or fundraising with proven results
- Superior communication skills
- A solid understanding of the fundraising development cycle and donor stewardship - planning/implementing fundraising plans, strategies, and tactics.
- Project management, organization and prioritizing skills, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative and active team player.
