Red Deer, Canada Troubled Monk Brewery Full time

This role is based in Red Deer but will require frequent travel to Edmonton, Calgary, and throughout Alberta.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
**Customer Relationship Management**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct site visits and communicate with customers to ensure their needs are met.

**Prospecting and Lead Generation**
- Identify and target potential customers through research, networking, and cold calling.
- Generate leads and develop a pipeline of opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.

**Closing New Leads and Growing Existing Relationships**
- Listen and identify customer issues and develop a plan to resolve them
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products to potential and existing customers.
- Ability to convert leads into new accounts and generate revenue
- Ability to grow sales with existing customers and increase existing revenue.

**Market Research**
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to enhance product/service offerings and strategies.

**Sales Reporting and Analysis**
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including contacts, opportunities, closed deals and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Populate CRM on a daily basis
- Prepare regular reports and communicate on sales performance, expected forecasted sales, and market trends

**Merchandising and Displays**
- Supporting customer promotions such as building product and marketing displays
- Merchandise and date check product at accounts

**Community Engagement & Event Coordination**:

- Attend relevant community events when appropriate
- Set up and perform account tastings
- Assist in determining which sponsorship and donation opportunities are right for the business
- Play a role in nurturing various sponsorship and community relationships both as it specifically relates to sales and the overall brand of Troubled Monk

**Managing People, Events, and Tastings**:

- Manage brand ambassadors in markets throughout Alberta
- Play a role in setting up, organizing, and participating in events
- Set up and execute (or arrange staffing for) tastings.

**A competitive salary plus bonus will be provided. Compensation package will include a vehicle allowance (or company vehicle) and cell phone. Expected total compensation package in the $65,000 to $75,00 range.**

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Sales experience in the industry is considered a strong asset
- Motivated to improve, grow and tackle challenges
- Ability to build strong relationships both inside and outside the organization
- Strong computer skills with experience using Google Suite
- Positive, optimistic and upbeat attitude. Ability to ‘read the room’ and relate to different people in a variety of settings
- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to multitask, handling multiple products, customers, and events at the same time
