**The Payment Coordinator is responsible for the payments for HealthCare Professional (HCP) Value Transfers for the Company organization.**
- This fast-paced position focuses on an in-depth understanding of compliance and regulatory environments.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Execute quality payment assessments of Healthcare Professional (HCP) interactions at Company. Healthcare interactions include (but not limited to) Advisory Boards, Corporate Sponsorships, Consulting Agreements, Speaker Programs, Steering Committees, and Train the Trainer sessions.
- **Evaluate payment requests against local and global Healthcare Compliance, Legal, and Finance policies and procedures**:
- Support company-wide transition of value transfer system by testing new solution, aiding in development of materials, and facilitating training sessions for internal users.
- **Accurately identify training gaps and provide solutions to optimize process**:
- Document, raise, and approve deviations from SOP, communicating and collaborating with internal teams to develop corrective action plan
- Facilitate invoice creation, signature, and payment following completion of HCP Value Transfer activities.
- Implement continuous process improvement to increase business efficiency and react to global process changes in a unified manner
- Maintain Vendor Master Records for HCP Value Transfer Vendors.
- Coordinate with Global Procurement, Accounts Payable and Finance teams to investigate and resolve any matters related to HCP Value Transfer payments.
**Qualifications**
- Hold an undergraduate degree (Science, Business, Ethics and Compliance, or Healthcare)
- Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical experience or other experience within a regulated environment. Experience within compliance an asset.
- Project Management and/or Change Management experience in a complex environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven implementation, training, or support of revised compliance requirements or regulations
- Ability to influence in a cross-functional environment
- Other key skills include attention to detail, being able to work optimally within a team and as an individual, and able to prioritize tasks.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
