We have an immediate opening for the
**Vice President, Inventory Planning **position for our office located in Richmond, BC. (Hybrid with 2 days working in the office). Key Responsibilities and Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the overall strategy and execution of the sales demand forecasting, inventory planning & replenishment functions.
- Lead, inspire and continuously develop a high performing inventory team.
- Oversee order execution and production monitoring to ensure that order schedules are being met (or expedited where required).
- Work closely and collaboratively with our suppliers to ensure consistent, on time supply.
- Balance global inventories in multiple distribution centers to ensure that weeks of stock targets are achieved while optimizing working capital allocation.
- Oversee the inventory and item strategy from an ERP system management perspective.
- Champion the implementation and ongoing execution of an Advanced Forecasting & Planning system.
- Drive continuous initiatives to improve vendor performance, forecasting and replenishment process efficiencies and other areas of cost out.
- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the senior leadership team.

**Experience, Traits and Qualifications**
- Possess minimum 7 years’ progressive experience with at least 3 years in a Director or Vice President level role in a medium to large organization, overseeing sales demand forecasting, inventory management and leading a high-performance inventory team.
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, commerce or business degree is required; an MBA is an asset.
- SCMP or CIMP designation will be an asset.
- Highly proficient with all aspects of a Microsoft or equivalent ERP system, Advanced Forecasting & Planning module/system, with proven experience in the lead role of implementation.
- A senior leader with the ability to build a high-level inventory strategy; a solid individual performer who is willing to “roll up the sleeves” to tackle the details.
- A resourceful, solution-driven self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Possess good business acumen, sound communication and leadership skills; demonstrate promptness, professionalism, and courtesy at all times by keeping promises.
- Ability to work cross-culturally, across time zones and flexible to travel to Asia and other countries.
- The ability to credibly communicate to multiple partner groups: large/small, senior/entry level, written/ verbal. To anticipate & understand their needs.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.
