**As our Payroll / Office Administrator you**:
Payroll Administration
- Prepare weekly hourly payroll by entering timesheets into upload spreadsheet and verify payroll hours are correct on audit.
- Complete payroll change forms for new hires, rate changes and terminations.
- Maintain employee records, new hire administration and weekly payroll records
- Provide secondary/ backup support to the Benefits & Payroll Administrator; verify and process weekly timesheets, review for accuracy and completeness, and allocate to correct cost centers in the Dayforce payroll system.
- Document payroll processes and procedures
- Generate bi-weekly payroll reports to calculate union Cost Recovery Recharges and issue to union.
- Enter expenses into spreadsheet for processing.

HR Administration
- E-filing all documents and initiating and uploading Onboarding Checklists to SharePoint
- Creating employee new hire accounts except in Dayforce (Argos, BIS and Sterling Backcheck)
- Assist with/ensure IT software accounts, computer equipment, cell phone, etc. are ready for new hires
- Generate various weekly, monthly, quarterly reports as assigned

General Administration
- Greet and sign-in all visitors to the office, respond to incoming calls and forward them as required, process incoming and outgoing mail including, express post and couriers and order business cards and office supplies.
- Support in the RFQ/RFP process with Prequalification response formatting, assembly & submissions
- Assist IT Specialist with administrative functions; maintain inventory allocated devices (laptops / cell phones, etc.) and ordering hardware as required
- Assist in general office administration and additional assignments upon request.
- Combination of related post secondary school education with 1- 3 years’ payroll experience processing multi union/province
- PCP designation preferred or a combination of related education and payroll experience
- Experience with Dayforce preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Office 365 experience preferred
- Excellent customer service attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
