Development Manager, Saskatoon (Full-time)
The Development Manager is responsible for the research, development and execution of RMHC-SK Annual Campaigns, Fundraising Strategies and Community Engagement to meet operational budgetary goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors
- Development and implementation of RMHC-SK Annual Campaigns through signature fundraising events and initiatives
- Securing event and program sponsorship to support Annual Campaigns
- Growing revenue through cultivation and support of 3rd Party fundraisers
- Community engagement including the identification and engagement of new donors and community partners
- Attending fundraising events, networking events and giving presentations
- Ensuring accurate collection and reporting of all fundraising data
- Overseeing social media and marketing strategies in alignment with designated Annual Campaigns and Fundraising Strategies
- Providing leadership and direction to the Development Associate
- Volunteer stewardship
- Alongside RMHC-SK Staff responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for all guests
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in fundraising and donor development
- Demonstrated ability to set and exceed fundraising goals
- Demonstrated success in developing successful campaigns and fundraising initiatives
- Experience in the non-profit sector and understanding of the donor stewardship and relations cycle
- Demonstrated budget planning and financial management experience
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience leading volunteers
- Able to work a flexible schedule and travel when required
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to pass a Police Record Check
- Proof of Covid 19 vaccination
**Work Hours**:35 hours per week, primarily weekdays with evening and weekend work as required.
**Salary Range**: $54,250 - $71,540
