**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Manager of Resource Development and working closely with Blue Door’s COO, CEO, Campaign Cabinet, and other volunteers, the Capital Campaign Coordinator will have a leadership and supporting role within Blue Door’s campaign. The Coordinator will develop the complete campaign schedule, organize the quiet event launch, as well as help identify, cultivate, and steward both capital campaign and major gifts.
**Responsibilities**
- Comprehensive Campaign Coordination
- Working closely with the CEO, Director of Resource Development, and Campaign Cabinet, assist in the development of a campaign strategy and provide leadership in the implementation stages.
- Help to implement the campaign and deliverables including reviewing and updating the pipeline to capture gift ranges, follow-ups, tracking prospects, and maintaining timelines.
- In support of the CEO and Director of Resource Development, create the Capital Campaign Cabinet, by way of individual and group meetings, producing the agenda and materials, and ensuring the completion of action items for regularly scheduled meetings.
- Support with managing the Capital Campaign budget, including tracking and reporting, both expenditure and contributed revenue.
- Lead the planning, promotion, and execution of the campaign's quiet phase launch event, ensuring donor acknowledgment, stewardship, and appropriate public recognition.
- Support the adherence to gift acceptance policies and recognition, gift correspondence, and the set-up of gift pledge payments & reminders.

Major Gifts
- Create, implement, and manage a comprehensive leadership and major gifts donor fundraising plan that includes a multidimensional appeal schedule utilizing a variety of mediums (e.g., electronic solicitation, direct mail appeals, face-to-face solicitations).
- Research and identify corporate, foundation, and individual prospects.
- Support with the development of cultivation strategies, and acquisition of major gifts to reach established campaign revenue goals, including meeting requests, meeting follow up, preparation of proposals, and providing guidance and coaching when necessary, including being present during solicitations when required.
- Conduct personal cultivation, briefing and solicitation meetings with individual prospects monthly in collaboration with the CEO, Director of Resource Development, other senior Blue Door staff and/or volunteers.

Additional Assistance
- Represent Blue Door at strategic events as needed.
- Work collaboratively with Blue Door’s Marketing and consultant teams to support the development of the campaign's communications and collateral materials, including print, web and social media platform.
- Maintain accurate records of past and present proposals and grant opportunities.
- Support with donor data entry, receipting, reporting, and timely oral and written communication to donors as needed.
- Positively communicate to the community Blue Door’s goals and work at every opportunity.
- Attend internal staff meetings and staff training as required.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all client and agency information.
- Coordinate with on-site teams prior to funder recognition events, tours, and/or visits.

- Provide referrals and follow-up as necessary.
- Meets with manager on a regular basis and participates in completion of annual performance evaluation.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in fundraising, communications, or a related field.
- CFRE designation and advanced degree is an asset.
