Social Media Coordinator

**Qualifications**:
**Social Media Expertise**
- Proficiency in managing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Understanding of Canadian audience preferences and trends, including regional considerations (e.g., English and French content if applicable).
**Content Creation**
- Strong ability to create engaging, brand-aligned content showcasing Greenworks’ tools (e.g., videos, before-and-after posts, product spotlights).
- Experience using graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator to design promotional content.
- Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) for product demos and how-to videos.
**Analytics and Reporting**
- Experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and Sprout Social to track social media KPIs.
- Ability to measure engagement, reach, and conversions while optimizing campaigns for ROI.
**Product Knowledge**
- Familiarity with Greenworks Tools’ product line (e.g., 80V Pro, 60V, and 40V systems, snow blowers, pressure washers).
- Ability to convey product benefits, eco-friendly features, and performance highlights to engage a Canadian audience.
**Marketing Knowledge**
- Understanding of digital marketing, including SEO and how social media integrates with larger campaigns.
- Experience running paid advertising on social platforms to promote Greenworks products.
**Community Management**
- Skilled in responding to customer inquiries, comments, and messages with a professional and brand-aligned tone.
- Ability to manage online communities and build relationships with eco-conscious consumers and DIY enthusiasts.
**Organizational Skills**
- Proven ability to maintain a detailed social media content calendar, planning posts around product launches, seasonal events (e.g., snow season), and promotions.
- Strong project management skills to coordinate campaigns across teams and external partners.
**Creativity**
- A creative mindset for brainstorming unique campaigns, such as showcasing sustainable landscaping or "tool tip" tutorials.
- Identifying opportunities for user-generated content and engaging influencer partnerships in the eco-friendly space.
**Brand Awareness**
- Ability to embody and maintain Greenworks Tools’ brand voice: innovative, eco-conscious, and professional.
- Ensuring consistency across Greenworks Canada’s social channels in messaging and visuals.
**Crisis Management**
- Skilled in handling negative feedback or product-related complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ability to de-escalate issues and communicate resolutions effectively.
**Educational Background**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
**Professional Experience**
- 2+ years managing social media accounts, ideally for a consumer goods or home improvement brand.
- Experience in the outdoor power tools or eco-conscious product industries is a significant asset.
**Certifications (Optional)**
- Certifications in social media marketing (Hootsuite, Facebook Blueprint) or Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with sustainability and environmental certifications or training is a bonus.
**Technical Proficiency**
- Knowledge of scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later to plan and automate posts.
- Basic understanding of website content management (e.g., WordPress or Shopify) to coordinate with digital teams.
