His international radio program, Insight for Living, has aired for more than 40 years. Chuck’s trademark humour, integrity, and authenticity have made him one of this century’s most beloved and trusted preachers.

**General Description**:
Insight for Living Canada’s (IFLC) ministry relations department is responsible for facilitating, developing, and maintaining relationships with its valued constituent base, in order to advance the Bible-teaching mission of the organization. As a member of this team, the ministry partner co-ordinator works to strengthen the relationships IFLC has with key supporters by providing them with personal encouragement in their Christian faith and assisting them with their administrative needs associated with donations and IFLC resources. This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) based in our Abbotsford, British Columbia office, with the potential for it to be full-time.

**Core Job Functions**

**Donor Communications (80%)**
- Collaborating with relevant departments in developing and executing supporter-focused strategies
- Participating in the broader organization and execution of supporter-related events
- Collaborating with the executive director on supporter visits and/or virtual meetings

**Operations/Administration (15%)**
- Documenting connections with supporters
- Assisting as needed in answering phones and helping supporters particularly at peak times and for holiday coverage
- Other duties as assigned

**Professional Development (5%)**
- Commits to the challenges of growth and development according to a professional development plan
- Pursues knowledge and/or experience with a positive attitude
- Enables and encourages colleagues to grow in their role and faith
- Networks with others in similar positions and roles, both internal and external to the Christian community

**Qualifications**
- Able to relate well with people of all ages and personalities while maintaining professionalism
- Pre-existing familiarity and appreciation for Pastor Chuck Swindoll and Insight for Living Ministries
- Comfortable praying with constituents over the phone or in person
- Gracious, mature, conscientious, and accountable
- Previous experience with customer service an asset
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Some Bible college or a discipleship training program
- Reasonable aptitude for using computers and learning new technology
- Experience with donor software or CRM is an asset
- Able to travel (local and national travel may be required for in-person visits and ministry events)
- Available to work outside of standard office hours as needed

**Accountability**: This position is accountable to the ministry relations director
