As a member of our client service team, the **Consultant **(**Manager**)**, Sponsorship **Marketing** is responsible for client project and relationship management, providing clients with innovative short and long-term strategic sponsorship guidance.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Relationship Management**
- Support contract negotiations and contract management for specific sponsorship investments on behalf of clients
- Support management of select sponsorship relationships for clients
- Manage or support the management of the client account, ensuring that the team is following the statement of work throughout
- Review new sponsorship opportunities for a client, create POV to support alignment with client’s objectives
- Prepare reports and presentations detailing project specifics, suggestions for optimization, and results
- Prepare a budget control report, reconcile team member hours and confirm scope with client
- Understand clients’ businesses fully and maintain current industry knowledge
- Support organic growth with accounts, taking an active role building the clients’ businesses, generating new strategies and anticipating sponsorship and integrated marketing needs

**Research and Information Gathering**
- Support the Analytics and Insights Team with the completion of property valuations
- Research properties throughout North American to continue to build and develop agency data

**People Management**
- Support Talent to recruit, develop and retain the best talent in the experiential and sponsorship marketing industry
- Onboard new team members and provide on-going continued learning and development
- Support and guide team members through consistent performance management and development plan
- Execute weekly one-on-one’s to support team members continued learning and growth
- Responsible for the workplace health, safety and wellness of team members
- Manage the execution of required tasks by the imbedded team
- Support team members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in their approach to work

**Culture Cultivation**
- Support ongoing development of a positive agency culture
- Act as a Lumency champion in the marketplace

**Financial Responsibility**
- Manage team efficiency and effectiveness and ensure the Lumency budget, billing, and revenue is in line with client expectations

**Qualifications**

**Education**

Post-secondary education in business administration, marketing, or communications

**Experience**

3+ years of experience in sponsorship marketing

1-2 years of people management experience (an asset)

**Skills and Abilities**
- Certification / Coursework in Microsoft Office (an asset)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated individual with ability to delegate and utilize team members efficiently and effectively
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written) with clients, agency partners, rights holders, and co-workers
- Ability to prepare formal reports and presentations
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent problem solving skills and high attention to detail and ability to focus
