We are currently looking for a Sponsorship Specialist to support our client, a leading telecommunications firm. In this role you will work full time hours on a 12 month assignment, working a hybrid schedule in support of their Toronto office.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Sponsorship, you will assist in the development, planning and execution of marketing, sponsorship and communication initiatives designed to leverage the organization's investment in various sponsorship properties. This position, based in Toronto, will be responsible for the successful execution of programs and initiatives that play a role in our sponsorship activation strategy including Ontario sports, entertainment, and esports properties.

Responsibilities
â¢Daily interface with key representatives from our sponsored properties
â¢Be accountable for sponsorship projects which you will be responsible for
â¢Build and develop activation plans for sponsorship properties
â¢Build, plan and execute the schedule and critical path for each property by coordinating the work of internal and external stakeholders
â¢Development of creative briefs, reports and presentations to share project objectives and results
â¢Execute and oversee the mandates of agencies, events, content producers, staff supplier and services
â¢Work with other business units and agency partners to ensure all communications materials and activations are on brand
â¢Other event time responsibilities as assigned
â¢Build, track and keep team accountable on budgets for each project assigned

Qualifications
â¢Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a sports marketing, agency or marketing environment
â¢Experience executing major sponsorships and event properties
â¢Strong project management skills are a necessity including:
â¢Disciplined approach to planning, flawless execution with exceptional attention to accuracy and detail
â¢Ability to complete full project requirements from planning meetings, setting project objectives, sourcing and budgeting through to project execution with demonstrating ROI
â¢Organized team-player with ability to work collaboratively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
â¢Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
â¢Experience in ability to manage relationships with suppliers, agency, and partners
â¢Strong knowledge of social media (Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch)
â¢Strong analytical, creative and critical thinking
â¢Essential, knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
â¢Flexibility to work overtime to attend events
â¢Ability to operate in self-sufficiently and as a member of a collaborate team

Preferred skills:
â¢Knowledge of trends and evolving technologies in the field of telecommunications
â¢Major in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing or equivalent
â¢Passion for sports & entertainment
