Telecon is looking for an energetic and career minded individual to take on the position of Associate Business Partner within our Talent & Culture Team.

This full-time hybrid position includes Health Benefits and a company match RRSP from day 1 of employment as well as opportunities for future growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day human resources programs such as onboarding, employee engagement, and offboarding.
- Monitor and partner with Leaders pertaining to Leave of absence and return to work programs.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to Leaders and employees regarding HR programs, practices, and policy interpretation.
- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate and remaining agile to support the needs of the business.
- Provide support on employee relations issues and disciplinary actions, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations where applicable.
- Work in partnership with Health & Safety Specialists and Leaders to assist in driving a health and safety culture.
- Generate regular weekly and monthly reports related to headcount, turnover, recruiting, claims management and prepare ad hoc reports, as requested.
- Responsible for maintaining employee files and records in the Human Resources Information System.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly presentation materials.
- Prepare employee letters, such as employment verification letters, employment offers, contract renewals and departure letters.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices to ensure compliance with employment standards and human rights requirements.
- Perform other special projects, as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field considered an asset.
- 2+ years of experience as an HR coordinator considered an asset.
- Bilingual (French and English) considered an asset.
- Experience working with HRIS systems (Taleo) considered an asset.
- Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization and work with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), strong interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with high initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with an ability to work well in a dynamic environment.
- Resourceful, logical thinker and process-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
- In-depth experience of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality.
