This full-time hybrid position includes Health Benefits and a company match RRSP from day 1 of employment as well as opportunities for future growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to Leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) while ensuring full compliance with the Collective Agreements where applicable.
- Works closely with Leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Partner with the Talent and Culture Coordinator for weekly and monthly reports related to headcount, turnover, recruiting and prepare ad hoc reports, as requested.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Monitor and partner with Leaders pertaining to Leave of absence and return to work programs.
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Fosters partnerships to deliver value-added service to Leadership and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
- Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, culture and its competition.
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate and remaining agile to support the needs of the business.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Perform other special projects, as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3-5 years relevant human resources experience in a human resources capacity supporting business operations.
- Construction field and/or manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in an employee relations focused role an asset.
- Highly effective communicator and influencer.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competitive priorities in a dynamic setting.
