- Process accounts payable transactions, including receiving, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Ensure accurate coding of expenses and proper approval for payment
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
- Provide support for audits and respond to inquiries from vendors or internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to accounts payable

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Ceridian, Kronos, or Workday is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.66-$32.49 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Oshawa, ON L1H 1N2 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Oshawa, ON L1H 1N2: Relocate before starting work (required)
