**This is for a 16-month Co-op work terms that begin in May 2023.**

**What you will do**:
The following is a sample of common job duties. More detailed information will be provided during the recruitment process.
- Gain experience in collecting and analyzing geospatial data in-mine and on surface or in both micro-seismic monitoring and in-mine geophysical techniques
- Contribute to the GeoServices & Land team to provide quality geospatial or geophysical support to potash mining operations
- Assist with various duties, including:

- Collect terrestrial LiDAR, RPAS photogrammetry, and GNSS survey data
- Conduct data analysis and quality control
- Care and maintenance of sensitive equipment
- Work with GIS datasets
- Geophysical data acquisition: mainly Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), but may also include electromagnetic survey support and seismic reflection/refraction acquisition
- Install and manage geophysical sensors
- Travel will be required
- Work both in underground mines and in operating industrial facilities
- Work some longer than normal workdays may be required

**What you will bring**:

- ** Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 3 years of an undergraduate Geophysics, Geology, Mine Engineering, Environmental Sciences, and Geological Engineering (or equivalent) program at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term.**:
