**Discover more about potash at Nutrien An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Saskatoon Corporate Office beginning May 2024 for a 16-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.**

**What you will do**:

- Gain experience in both microseismic monitoring and in-mine geophysical techniques
- Contribute to the GeoServices team in providing quality geophysical support to potash mining operations
- Assist with various duties, including:

- Supporting microseismic event workflow. This will be focused on event review and reporting
- Data analysis
- Installation and management of geophysical sensors
- Geophysical data acquisition: mainly Ground Penetrating Radar, but may also include Electromagnetic or Seismic Reflection/Refraction
- Some travel may be required
- Occasionally work in underground mines
- Some longer than normal workdays may be required

**What you will bring**:

- **
Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 3 years of an undergraduate Geophysics, Geology, Mine Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geological Engineering, or other earth sciences degree (or equivalent) program at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term.**:

- Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training
- Excellent interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
- Motivation to set and achieve goals, take initiative, and nurture projects forward
- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
- Alignment with Nutrien’s purpose and values
