Used Car Sales Manager

Downsview Chrysler is a family business that has been in business for over 64 years Located at 199 Rimrock Road in North York, Downsview Chrysler sits on 6 acres of centrally located prime real estate close to the 401, 407, and 400 Highways as well as two subway stations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for supporting Used Car Sales Consultants and driving a high level of performance among the sales team
- Conduct monthly meetings with department employees
- Close deals
- Appraise trade-ins (vAuto)
- Online Merchandising
- Work with the F&I Department to get deals approved
- Reach sales goals on strict timeline requirements
- Grow revenue and profitability
- Report performance goals and achievements on a regular basis
- Handle all customer complaints on a timely basis
- Ensure that work is assigned to Used Car Sales Staff in an efficient and equitable manner
- Ensure that adequate staff is available to handle the expected customer demand
- Ensure customer retention and profitability
- Recruiting qualified sales personnel and training them
- Actively support, encourage, and motivate sales personnel daily to maintain high performance
- Uphold all rules and procedures (i.e support enforcement, including disciplinary action as necessary)
- Work in strict compliance with the laws of Ontario and Canda including, but not limited to, the Employment Standards Act and The Motor Vehicle Dealers Act
- Understand and comply with all federal, provincial and local regulations that affect service operations, such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures
- Other duties required by management
**Qualifications**:
- OMVIC Certification is required
- Dealer CRM system experience is required
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and a good driving record
- Ability to support the organizations goals and objectives
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Demonstrate effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Ability to manage stress and work with tight deadlines
- Highly self motivated and directed
- Self-motivated and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Must be flexible with work schedules
