Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative leader for the position of Program Coordinator to manage both human and fiscal resources by overseeing the daily operations of all adult clinical services in the Violence Intervention and Prevention Program (VIPP) and Voices for Women Sudbury Sexual Assault Centre (SSAC). Additionally, the Program Coordinator will collaborate with program manager to implement and lead activities.

**KEY FUNCTION**:
Manage both human and fiscal resources by overseeing the daily operations of all adult clinical services in the Violence Intervention and Prevention Program (VIPP) and Voices for Women Sudbury Sexual Assault Centre (SSAC). Collaborate with program manager to implement and lead activities.
**REPORTING**:
Under the general direction of the Clinical Manager, Violence Intervention & Prevention Program, VOICES for Woman and NEO Kids.
**DUTIES**:
- Design, promote, and facilitate the use of systems to ensure the provision of patient care is consistent with program/professional standards and evidence based best practice.
- Provide support and leadership to community professionals, including police, shelters, and child protection services through collaborative programming, policies, mentoring and professional development.
- Ensure excellence in Forensic standards of practice; implement methods to monitor and continuously improve practice delivery in accordance to Canadian Law and the Ontario Forensic Sciences Program.
- Assist with the coordination of media events and promotional initiatives, including fundraising, awareness campaigns, interviews and conferences.
- Determine and document space, equipment, supply, and service requirements; select and purchase equipment and supplies as budgeted/approved.
- Review and revise policies and procedures and ensure they are followed.
- Facilitate 24/7 on-call client, community, and regional coverage for sexual assault and domestic violence.
- Assume fiscal accountability of the departmental operation according to approved budget.
- Evaluate patient care and satisfaction on an ongoing basis and formulate solutions for improvement.
- Manage human resources which include: recruitment, selection and training.
- Guide, motivate, monitor and supervise staff, develop standards of performance, evaluate performance and make recommendations on disciplinary action as required.
- Oversee the work of others in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), its regulations, and HSN policies.
- Determine and align improvement projects with HSN’s Strategic Plan; monitor and adjust to achieve goal outcomes.
- Participate in the accreditation process and work to ensure that the program and HSN achieve, maintain and continually improve upon their accredited status.
- Teach, coach and lead staff in the development and monitoring of quality indicators and improvement initiatives.
