Finmac Lumber Ltd. is a privately owned, wholesale lumber distributor, established in 1967.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, dynamic individual to join our team, in a sales and marketing position. The position is based in Winnipeg, but may require some travel. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. We offer a competitive wage and benefits package, along with a RRSP matching program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Applicant will begin on the order desk and work throughout the warehouse to learn policies, procedures and products within the company.
- Sales duties as assigned.
- Manage customer relationships.
- Develop a marketing plan for sales within your customer base.
- Responsible for the achievement of revenue targets.
- Focus on developing & maintaining a client base.
- Ensure that client needs are identified, met and exceeded, by maintaining effective communication with customers, and up-to-date knowledge of products, marketplace trends and strategies.

Qualifications:

- Sales & Marketing or related field experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle several projects concurrently and work to priorities.
- Self-starter, innovative and able to work in an extremely fast paced environment.
- Ability to make sound decisions and communicate with management.
- Well-developed computer skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
