**Event Assistant**

**Job Description**:

- Support the annual OTIP Charity Golf Classic, Corporate Fun Day and LTD Benefits Conference with advance preparation.
- On-site support for the Corporate Fun Day and OTIP Charity Golf Classic, and post-event clean-up and organizing.
- Assist with the coordination of event details such as catering, décor, auction, promotional materials, printing, gifts, prizes, and other event-related components.
- Reconcile vendor invoices and ensure these costs are tracked within our budget.
- Coordinate and maintain various attendee lists to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with volunteer coordination for various events and work with committee members to assist with assigned duties as required.
- Order and coordinate supplies needed for events.
- Prepare presentations to be used during events.
- Assist with other events as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- Superior time management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
- Self-starter who is pro-active and takes the initiative to complete tasks and manage multiple projects independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Team player who is able to work in a highly energetic and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of online event platforms and technology is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in Event Coordination is considered an asset.
