Chatters, proudly Canadian owned with over 115 locations and growing, has an immediate opening for a **Demand Planner **to join our dynamic team.

Reporting to the Manager of Supply & Demand, the** Demand Planner** is responsible for developing, implementing and managing demand planning processes. Responsible for OMNI demand forecasts to ensure that we have sufficient inventory to support all 3 channels of distribution through core; seasonal and opportunity buy-ins. Maximizes sales opportunities, optimizes assortments, and ensures consistency across stores.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop demand forecasts. Analyze historical sales data, market trends and other relevant factors to accurately predict future demand for products and services.
- Collaboration with x-functional teams including category management, marketing and franchises to obtain relevant data and develop accurate demand plans. Coordinate with these teams to understand sales promotions, new product launches and any other factors that may impact demand.
- Review and refine demand planning processes. Continuously review and improve the demand planning processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and implement best practices and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and align supply with demand.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels and stock-outs. Provide regular reports to management highlighting areas of improvement and potential risks.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate the impact on demand and supply. Monitor market conditions, competitor activities and other external factors that may affect demand.
- Oversee work back calendars and deliverables for new store openings.
- Work with category management inventory teams and store management to address and maintain visual presentation of products.
- Maintain the integrity of the planogram database.
- Communicate and ensure the execution of approved planograms to operations.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of retail experience preferably with a solid knowledge of demand planning and inventory management.
- Post-secondary education in Business or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics/Navision, Business Central, AGR) Microsoft Power BI an asset.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration to work fluidly with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in creating and running sales and inventory reports.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Beauty Industry experience preferred.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational, time management and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
