**Job Summary**
The Supply Chain Planner manages the forecasting and replenishment of finished goods to and from the Manufacturing Plants and/or third-party vendors and the Distribution Centers as required to ensure the balanced supply of product and inventory levels within the distribution centers. They will model the Spectrum values and behaviors to achieve service excellence, meet and exceed organizational objectives and support fiscal responsibility.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for consolidating sales forecasts as an input to the PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory = the plant line run rates) and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes.
- Work with the Supply Chain Planning team to quickly resolve issues when demand exceeds allocation or when there are long term supplier capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure their demand plan is accurate and service levels are being met.
- Communicate changes in external customer mix and inventory requirements for customer stores/DC.
- Highlight potential demand issues based on visible demand plan and general understanding of the supply plan in a timely and professional manner.
- Consolidates, summarizes and creates action plans for forecast accuracy improvements.
- Work with customer service, DC’s, sales and marketing to monitor orders and to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Work with suppliers to expedite orders where necessary.
- Collaborate and work closely with groups throughout the organization including Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Financial Management to forecast dollars and units and balance customer service requirements, production capabilities and financial inventory investment.
- Drive process improvements and performance against demand planning KPI’s.
- Lead demand review and consensus meetings while establishing accountability for the demand plan with Sales and Marketing.
- Ensure forecasts are in place and represent all demand for all products with the latest market intelligence in the 12- and 24-month horizon.
- Communicate key assumption changes & other KPI’s as required through monthly S&OP cycles.
- Ensure abnormal demand and market opportunities are effectively communicated and understood through the supply network
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience Profile**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Administration
- Post-Secondary diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field or relevant professional designation
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Demand Planning / Supply Planning /Forecasting role (CPG background preferred)
- APICS CPIM/CSCP certification or Partial completion

**Required Skills**:

- 3-4 years of experience statistical forecasting & Knowledge of advanced planning tools such as JDA/APO & SAP is a must
- Ability to manage a high number of SKUs and significant dollar volume
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and act with a strong sense of urgency
- Advanced Statistical analysis experience
- Strong analytical, decision and problem-solving skills
- Advanced MS Excel analytical and Power Point presentation skills, including pivot tables and experience with very large data set
- Proven success in a team environment
- Ability to coordinate & collaborate cross functionally within the organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Internal & external customer-facing experience is a minimum

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field or relevant professional designation
- Supply chain experience in a Retail/Wholesale / Traditional retail industry

**Work Environment**
This position is a Hybrid work schedule.
