The Opportunity

We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Director to lead and support our growth and efforts centrally. The role will drive communication approaches to support and enhance the KDN's growth ambition. This is a challenging role that will involve day-to-day liaison with KDN Leadership, KPMG Member Firms and third parties.

What you will do:

- Planning and carrying out communications for key KDN initiatives, which may include:

- Newsletters
- Success stories/testimonials
- Support for growth / expansion of different KDN offerings/solutions
- Launch content for external communications and development of social media campaigns to raise brand awareness and for talent attraction
- Managing and maintaining global stakeholder data
- Delegating activities and reviewing work product for junior to senior analyst-level Communications team members
- Directing KDN team members to identify creative and effective ways to communicate with various KPMG and external audiences
- Mentoring and supporting the development all Communications team members
- Strategic Marketing & Communication Planning and Marketing Program Management
- Internal Network Management and Internal Communication
- Marketing Resource Management
- Budget Management and Marketing ROI
- Best Practice Development and Sharing

What you bring to this role:

- A senior marketing and communications professional with at least 15 years of experience (minimum seven years at a senior level) and demonstrable success in the formulation and implementation of strategic marketing and communication plans for professional services
- Experience in dealing with senior board level executives within a highly matrixed organization and delivering high profile programs
- Demonstrable success in developing and implementing complex (and preferably international) brand and measurement programs
- Demonstrable success in managing measurement strategies, stakeholder engagement and outreach programs which promote business leaders and b2b services.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders
- Strong track record of delivering high quality marketing programs which support the revenue growth of major accounts
- Ability to oversee change management processes and influencing culture change
- Flexible and able to operate in the context of very different cultures and national approaches
- A global mindset and ability to travel internationally
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to grasp business objectives and translate into actionable technical and functional requirements
- Experience writing and editing communications for broad audiences, including leadership and practitioners
- Experience of social media marketing, including developing external communications / social media campaigns
- Ability to work flexible hours - connecting and collaborating with colleagues in different time zones
