We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing to join our growing team

Key Responsibilities
As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing traditional and digital marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns in support of our vision. A core responsibility of the Director of Marketing is to ‘project manage’ multiple campaigns (often on an ad hoc basis) while maintaining a schedule.

Your capacity to keep current -- and better still, ahead of the curve on technology. How well you can conceptualize, execute and maintain digital and social media marketing strategies, including ongoing LinkedIn, Facebook, Google and Instagram campaigns. Execute digital marketing strategies and analyze project analytics -- particularly to monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Your proficiency in using CRM platforms, digital analytics tools, content management systems, social media tools, and other marketing software tools. Execute email campaigns using a variety of software such as Salesforce, MailChimp and other email marketing platforms. Experience maintaining a high bandwidth while paying close attention to detail and managing and juggling all separate but interconnected parts of myriad projects.
Cutting to the Chase, this is the Nuts and Bolts of the Job
Managing the company's entire digital presence (i.e. various corporate and property websites, social media, Google business profiles, etc.). This would also include monitoring website metrics as well as analyzing marketing campaign performance to optimize.
Ad hoc projects as requested ranging from corporate or project brochures, management reports, fact sheets, newsletters, video, signage, websites (multiple), drone usage, hoarding, and ongoing social media campaigns.
Managing and liaising with all of our agencies and dedicated vendors, with whom we have long term relationships because ‘service’ is their second name. This would entail making sure that they understand what is needed from them and that they deliver high quality work on time.
Maintaining consistent branding and messaging for Clifton Blake and all relevant product lines, ensuring that all external communications were aligned with the firm’s vision. The goal is to make sure each ‘product’ has its own distinct look that can be immediately recognizable both on its own and as ‘family’.
Working with both property management/leasing, private equity, debt, construction, and real estate teams to make sure they all have what they need
to do their jobs effectively.
Ad hoc project management. A constant. It would be a bit reductive to just call it content strategy or managing a marketing calendar. Pretty much anything under the sun that is external facing is something that has to go through marketing, in a processed manner, which is incredibly important. It requires a lot of attention to detail and also requires someone who has enough bandwidth to manage and juggle all these separate but interconnected parts.
Experience Required
Post secondary education
Minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing experience across all platforms (traditional and digital)
Solid computer skills (MS Office, graphic design software, etc)
Solid experience using social media platforms
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities
Superior communication and interpersonal skills to develop marketing team and build trusting business relationships
A self-starter who can balance between working independently and collaborating in a team
Highly organized, with strong time management skills and exceptional attention to detail

Clifton Blake is a Toronto-based fully integrated real estate private equity and asset management firm. Our focus is sourcing and investing in fundamentally
sound and profitable investments on behalf of our funds under management. Portfolios include mixed-use rental properties, development partnerships, and specialized mortgage transactions. The company operates a series of private equity and debt funds as well as a portfolio of managed investments on behalf of our investor clients.
