**Description**:

- Provide recruitment support by posting jobs, pre-screening resumes, interview scheduling, and performing background checks
- Providing support in interviews when required
- Prepare essential HR documents such as letters of employment, employment contracts, and company memos
- Maintain and update employee files
- Coordinating and executing the employee onboarding and off boarding practices, including conducting check ins
- Manage employee training and certifications and coordinate training sessions
- Schedule meetings, corporate and HR events, and maintain the teams agenda
- Assist in the collection of company newsletter articles
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- Assist the HR Business Partner with any projects or tasks
- Coordinate, plan, and take minutes for the Safety Council Meetings
- Utilize Microsoft office programs and internal company software
- Other HR & Administrative functions as required

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- Previous experience working as either an HR Assistant or HR Coordinator
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to commute to North Edmonton branch

**Job Type**
- Full-Time (40 hours a week)
- Monday to Friday
- On site at the North Edmonton Location
- Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner
