Operations Supervisor

**Reports to**:
Operations Manager

**Summary**:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for helping to manage the smooth operation of the delivery team, with the guidance of the Operations Manager. This includes the transport and pickup food and wares to and from events, corporate offices, and private residences throughout the GTA. This position is all encompassing and will require the ability to think on your feet, and make decisions that are in the best interest of the client and the company.

**Job Duties**:
**Operations Supervisor**
- Routing: Manage all routing for TAH & Drop off Events
- Coordinate all Pick ups (from suppliers, leftover equipment/product from events, & last minute kitchen pick up’s) and Drop off’s (of product/equipment to events in advance of the event date)
- Training: Alongside Operations Manager Create & Maintain Operations training manual. Assign training to Ops team member that the role relates to and/or participate in training
- Staff scheduling: Alongside or in the absence of Operations Manager schedule all staff taking into consideration fulfillment of minimum number of hours they have requested to work each week. Coordinate extra staff where required directly or through third party staffing agencies for both driving, facilities work, & kitchen work (when required)
- Van scheduling: Alongside or in the absence of Operations Manager schedule/assign vehicles to daily deliveries, pick up’s and events. Coordinate rental of extra vehicles where required.
- Supervise: Alongside or in the absence of Operations Manager while on site be central point of contact for all Operations staff, take calls from operations staff & clients (when required), assign/break out teams tasks for each day
- Meetings: Sit in on Kitchen Management and Event Management meetings alongside or in the absence of Operations Manager.
- Moving furniture (when required)
- Last minute pickups for kitchen (when required)
- Deliveries (when required)

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
