Collaborating with the Brand and Marketing team, this role advances Kindred’s purpose through proactive and ongoing engagement with key community and internal stakeholders in alignment with targeting key audiences and impact areas. This role leads Kindred’s community engagement and philanthropic programs and initiatives; steering the creation and activation of purpose-oriented engagement opportunities; and ensuring initiatives are strategically aligned and deliver on objectives supporting business results.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversees philanthropy and community engagement programs
- Leads corporate relationship with global, national, regional networks (B Corp, GABV, OCA)
- Monitors prevailing and emerging Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Impact trends, guidelines, and regulations
- Engages Kindred leaders, Kindred staff members, members, community partners in the story we are writing together
- Leads development, implementation, and refreshing of frameworks to guide Kindred’s approach to community and impact

**What to bring**

**Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience**:

- Post secondary education in a related field (eg. community engagement, corporate responsibility, or communication)
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in a relationship building role
- Direct report and cross-functional leadership, negotiation, consulting, networking, and partnership skills
- Strong presentation, development, and delivery skills
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Familiarity and experience with impact measurement practices and methodology an asset
