**Project Coordinator / Project Controls**
Our engineering firm in the renewable energy sector is seeking a project coordinator to work in our Oakville, Ontario office **three days a week**, Tue. Wed. & Thur. The project coordinator will be responsible for creating schedules, drafting delivery policies, and preparing technical summary reports. They will also work closely with project managers. This individual needs to have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written and must be comfortable engaging with clients. Confidence in their ability to do the work is essential. This opportunity would be great for new graduates or semi-retired
**Responsibilities**
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, work hours and expenditures
- Maintain internal records and prepare internal reports as required
- Manage project data requests through support tools like Procore, E-builder
- Understand and use Gantt Charts
- Organizing, attend, and participating in client meetings
- Prepare meeting minutes
- Work with project managers to ensure project deadlines are met
- Undertaking project tasks as required
- Ensure client views are managed toward the best solution
**Qualifications**
- Technical diploma
- Computer experience, thorough understanding of Microsoft Work, Excel and SharePoint
- Able to work with Procore, E-builder
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Renewable energy experience an asset
