The Alberta Medical Association (AMA) is hiring for a _**casual, temporary**_ **Administrative Support, Webinar Delivery **to support virtual meetings/webinars in the early mornings (7:00 - 9:00 AM), evenings (5:00 - 9:00 PM) and possibly some weekends. Hours per month will vary but will be up to 40 hours per month. This role is temporary till March 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension.

**Program Overview**
The AMA Accelerating Change Transformation Team (ACTT) supports physicians and other team members, improve care within their practice environments. We work with physician leaders, clinic teams and health system partners across the province to simplify, support, and scale provincial healthcare transformation projects and innovation.
ACTT is a program within the AMA serving the system and physicians in their collective pursuit of better care for Albertans; funding is provided by Alberta Health as part of the Physician Support Programs under the AMA/AH agreement. Please see our web page for more information on AMA ACTT.
**Position Overview**
As a casual Administrative Support, Webinar Delivery for the ACTT Team, you will support early morning, evening and some weekend virtual meetings and webinars. Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Attend and coordinate AMA ACTT live webinars and support webinar facilitators with any logístical issues.
- Respond to session-specific inquiries during webinars.
- Manage technical aspects of delivering Zoom webinar sessions.
- Manage technical queries from webinar participants, as needed.
- Support program delivery lead as required.
- Most work will be pre-planned 2 or more weeks ahead; however, there may be requests to work on short notice on occasion. Hours per month will vary depending on work and meeting schedule but will be up to 40 hours per month._
**Education and Experience**
- Minimum requirement is a 1-year post-secondary certificate with at least 2 years of administrative experience in a professional office and/or healthcare environment. An equivalent amount of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience in setting up, coordinating and running virtual sessions in Zoom and Teams is required.
**Skills**
- Professional, articulate, and skilled in troubleshooting technology issues with excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional organization skills and accuracy in carrying out assigned tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure situation.
- Communicate effectively with ACTT staff and physician participants.
- Able to adapt messages based on the audience.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work within a changing environment.
- Comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity or uncertainty.
The hourly rate for this role will be between $25.61 - $33.29.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $25.61-$33.29 per hour

- Monday to Friday
