**The Opportunity**: 21 month opportunity
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day functionality and maintenance of the HRIS system. This role will support the Director, HR Technology, Data Analytics & HR Operations and be involved in auditing employee data records and reports, configuration and testing, system upgrades, security, analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing tickets and ensuring the overall integrity and optimal performance of the HRIS system and any 3rd party interfaces.
This is a hybrid role with requirements to be on site 3 days a week, providing a balance between remote flexibility and in-person collaboration.
**About The Role**:
- Supports maintenance of core HR modules like Onboarding, Performance, Recruiting, Succession, Learning, Letter Management in the HRIS.
- Oversees and maintains the content on Employee and Manager Hub pages.
- Develops and maintains existing standard operating procedures and documentation for ongoing HRIS activities.
- Submits and tracks tickets submitted through our HCM provider and provides necessary updates on progress to stakeholders.
- Executes simple HR reporting requests and provides assistance, when needed, in gathering requirements for more complex reports.
- Assists with the set-up of ad-hoc reports available through self-service options that meets business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Assists with ongoing system communications and/or communication series and ensuring they are updated to Hub pages.
- Responsible for completing or responding to data audits and the tracking and reporting of audit results.
- Responsible for updating regular reporting requirements i.e. HR Dashboard
- Supports inquiries on daily employee transactions and HR services via forms, workflows, and self-serve options.
- Responds to daily system inquiries (e.g., HRIS cases ) while meeting SLAs and tracking recurring issues for further communication or training.
- Assists in tracking and analyzing data to assess HR system performance and service quality.
**What You Need to Succeed**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field required.
- CHRP is an asset.
**Experience**:
- At least three years of experience with HR information systems in a data or reporting capacity.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and basic formulas (VLOOKUPs, IF, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI an asset.
**Skills**:
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent technical support skills and data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Ability to keep information confidential.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially excel.
- Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
