**Administrative Specialist**

**Overview**

You are a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills who takes on new challenges with enthusiasm. You are open to new experiences and eager to work with our diverse staff. In the past, you have made a quantifiable difference to your organization through process improvements. You need to have a willingness to learn and a passion in helping teams towards measurable change.

**Primary job duties**
- Evaluate existing workflows and assist in process improvements and finding areas of improved efficiency.
- Assist with Sharepoint database enhancements/change requests.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Power Automate workflows and Power apps.
- Maintain and update all process-related documents for reference purposes.
- Oversee our offices in the Toronto and Ottawa areas with occasional site visits.
- Provide support for Academic Partnership Team, plan and manage our events and meetings.
- Participate in meetings by preparing minutes and presentations, planning meeting agendas, and organizing and managing meeting logistics.
- Schedule and coordinate travel logistics, including transportation, hotel, and catering reservations, and creating detailed itineraries
- Perform various administrative support tasks related to the primary mission of the administration team.

**Qualifications**
- An associate’s degree in office administration or a related field
- 4-5 years of experience in an administrative role supporting complex projects and events
- Interest in learning about change management
- Experience with process improvements
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Teams, and Outlook
- Experience using Power Automate and Power apps
- Strong communication skills and extremely self-motivated when managing communication channels
- Highly organized and capable of creating organizational systems that others can easily utilize
