Toronto, Canada lobster burger bar Full time

Lobster Burger Bar is looking for a Restaurant Manager 4 day work week.

As a Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for the operation of the restaurant. This includes training and coordinating staff, inventory management, cost control, devising strategies to ensure service and product quality, customer satisfaction, and first-line revenue generation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Oversee and ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence; log and handle any concerns or comments with timely follow-up
- Assist with hiring, interviewing, training and disciplining team members.
- Creating weekly schedule for staff that fits the needs of the business as set forth by your General Manager.
- Prepares and implements standard operating procedures, coordinates restaurant operations during each shift, determines and implements operating improvements
- Control Profit & Loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
- Overseeing supply and inventory purchase and control.
- Review weekly reservations and events.
- Plan and implement marketing strategy.
- Monitor and adjust marketing campaigns.
- Plan and execute marketing activities.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years previous restaurant management/supervisory experience in a comparable restaurant environment.
- Work authorization (required)
- Post-secondary education (preferred)
- Communication is key, so you’ll need to speak and write English well.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Previous experience with scheduling, labour and product cost control, inventory.
- Previous experience in developing a team.
- Previous experience with marketing strategy.
- Knowledge of provincial employment legislation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
- Work Location: In person
