We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team
- Duties & Responsibilities:_
- Responsible for entering accurate accounts payable data
- Prepares payment runs for all payables, bringing to the Manager’s attention any anomalies or concerns
- Responds to accounts payable inquiries
- Matches packing slips to invoices and ensures appropriate amounts are being billed and paid
- Reconciles accounts payable cheque stubs or remittance notices with correct invoices
- Maintains accounts payable files in an orderly manner to facilitate retrieval as needed
- Prepares and posts sales invoices from sales orders for doors and parts
- Enters and posts cash receipts to appropriate customer accounts
- Prepares entries for monthly corporate credit cards
- Distributes and processes mail on a daily basis
- Prepares and enters recurring month end General Ledger entries
- Periodically performs other duties as assigned or required
- Qualifications:_
- Post-secondary education in related field required
- Some experience performing accounting duties an asset
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:_

Excellent computer and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize duties
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Demonstrated professional attitude and confidentiality
