TripSpark Technologies is seeking a Proposal Writer. As a critical part of the sales team, this role is responsible for coordinating and writing proposals.

TripSpark is a transportation technology company helping public and private operators improve their fixed route, paratransit, microtransit, and rideshare services. For the past 30 years, we’ve specialized in providing solutions tailored to the complex needs of mid-sized urban, suburban, and rural agencies.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Research, write, edit, manage approvals and submit comprehensive high quality long-form story telling RFP proposal submissions for transit agencies
- Communicate TripSpark strengths and position the value that we provide to address a potential customers technical needs and requirements in the context of our technology, operational capabilities, and expert team support
- Assess the needs of potential customers and customize the approach through your writing to address those needs
- Absorb complex product specifications and distill them into easily digestible text for potential partners through your writing
- Contribute at every stage of procurements: through evaluation of the partner’s request, researching the target audience, collaborating on approach, creating exceptional proposal content, editing, and submission
- Through research, uncover the needs and future goals of the agency to favourably position our RFP responses
- Collect (through timely FOIA requests), maintain and analyze a database of competitive wins, losses via Salesforce and organize the findings in a summary to review RFP metrics, trends, volumes, and success rates and help to formulate areas of opportunity and create plans on how to improve
- Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities, target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approvals
- Own, create, monitor and maintain workflow and dashboards in Salesforce as well as the Loopio platform to ensure the government bid request process is being consistently followed and the data is continuously maintained and kept up to date.
- Proactively identify areas of opportunity and process improvement; leading the efforts and implementation of the improvements to continue to increase Win ratio
- Create and maintain RFX reporting analytics in Salesforce and other documents
- Assists in special projects and duties as requested and assigned by management to ensure overall departmental efficiency
- Administrative duties including photocopying, printing, faxing, mailing, shipping and data-entry, best practice training on the proposal process to team members

**Who You Are**:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in persuasive writing and project management; prior experience with RFX/RFP/RFIs/RFQs/Proposals is necessary
- Transit industry experience is preferred
- An exceptional writer: your work may have been published, driven business value, or even won awards
- Strong project management skills being able to see an the entire RFX process from start to finish
- A creative thinker and storyteller who can convey a clear and strong messaging through your writing
- Someone who thrives in a face-paced environment and uses your project management skills to ensure all deadlines are met through strong and clear communication
- Excellent research skills where you’re able to understand the needs of transit agencies, riders and our competitive landscape
- Exemplary skills in writing, editing, customization, research, and project management
