**Shipping Coordinator**

**Position Details**

**What you will be doing**
- Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals
- Assigns an order picker to prepare the client order and follows up to ensure it is consistently done in a timely fashion
- Process completed orders within the inventory control system
- Process all returns by; ensuring all product returns (from client or internal) are clearly identified with paperwork stating the tile name and warehouse location
- Confirm incoming returns can be put away; ensuring product does not pile up and returns are done immediately.
- Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
- Back up for point of contact at the shipping window for client orders which have already been placed
- Analyze problems and make recommendations as to root causes and corrective actions
- Answer telephone and electronic inquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
- Consult with customers, Co-workers after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
- Develop and build relationships with new accounts and develop additional contacts within existing accounts
- Ensure that all health, safety, and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met
- Investigate and report any discrepancies in inventory to management
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Maintaining paperwork and filing of orders
- Monitors all incoming requests to ensure they are being addressed in a timely fashion; coordinates the timely response to client orders
- Present a positive and professional image of the organization when interacting with employees, clients/customers, visitors, and other external stakeholders
- Resolves any customer issues related to an order and processes customer returns
- Tracking shipments in customer-specific spreadsheet and handles any shipping issues
- Works closely with Outside Sales, Showroom, Order Desk, and Warehouse staff to coordinate delivery of product and keeps clients up to date
- Follow up ask questions
- Other Duties as required

**What you bring**
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting/customer service experience
- Three years prior experience in a shipping role
- High levels of attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong customer service skills and positive attitude while interacting with clients and staff
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Ability to effectively multi task
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to new technology
- Use of ERP system an asset

**Work Conditions**
