In addition to providing superior customer service at the parts counter, our Parts Traffic Coordinator is a vital link between the parts order desk and the main warehouse. The Parts Traffic Coordinator acts as a Lead Hand performing parts counter functions with a strong emphasis on monitoring customer pick up traffic through constant follow up with the parts counter team, warehouse team, as well as the customer.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Demonstrate safe work and environmentally sound behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
- Coordinate Customer’s parts orders in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
- Ensure parts packing slips are signed and dated at the time of pick up
- Schedule adequate coverage at the pick-up counter by assigning team members in support of business requirements
- Monitor Moon Dust file for failed packing slip scans and correct according to E-commerce standards
- Process parts for returns, core returns and warranty inspection promptly to ensure parts are transferred to warehouse storage areas
- Perform monthly follow up on invoiced pick up orders remaining in the will-call area
- Monitor WMS order picking system and liaise with Warehouse Management Team to reduce customer order pick times
- Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure returned parts are put into stock for invoicing Customers in timely manner
- Provide on-call service during weekends for emergency parts orders
- Assist in creating claims for Caterpillar shipping errors on emergency orders using Corporate Parts Intranet Applications

***Must-haves for this role**:

- Post Secondary Education and 3+ years experience on a parts counter or inside sales position in a Dealership
- Safety conscious with a technical/mechanical aptitude and/or background in heavy equipment/truck equipment parts
- Customer centric with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships easily
- Highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive with well-developed problem solving with exceptional attention to detail
- Self-directed, team player with high integrity, initiative and sense of urgency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint), WMS,DBS and other customer based systems
- Knowledge of Cat SIS, ET and SOS or experience with Toromont parts operations would be an asset
- Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of the business needs
- A valid Driver's Licence with a clean Driver’s Abstract
