As the Game Day Assistant for Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources department during all Forge FC and Hamilton Tiger Cat games. You will work closely with the Human Resource Staffing Manager and other Food and Beverage departments to ensure that staffing needs are met, employee inquiries are addressed, and the overall game day experience is enhanced for both employees and fans.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Staffing Support: Assist with the coordination of staffing needs for game day events,
including but not limited to ticketing, concessions, security, and guest services.
2. Employee Check-In: Greet and check in employees as they arrive for their shifts,
ensuring that they have all necessary equipment and information.
3. Onboarding and Administration: Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including collecting necessary paperwork and getting employees setup in the system.
4. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
during game days, providing assistance and escalating issues as needed.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, shift assignments,
and other relevant information.
6. Compliance: Ensure that all game day activities comply with company policies and
procedures, as well as applicable labor laws and regulations.
7. Support HR Initiatives: Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as needed,
including recruitment, training, and employee engagement efforts.

**Requirements**:

tasks effectively.

including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

a positive and energetic atmosphere on game days.
8. Prior Experience: Previous experience in human resources, event management, or
hospitality is preferred.

The Human Resource Game Day Assistant must be prepared and available to work all Forge and Hamilton Tiger Cat Home Games for the 2024 season. This role is part time (20-25 hours per week) with a schedule focused around evenings and weekends.

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Every Weekend

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 5 years (preferred)
- Special events: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (required)
