The Timber Pricing Systems Analyst is a provincial expert in the management, administration, and the operation of the Harvest Billing System (HBS), General Billing Management System (GBMS) and the Client System.

The position is the expert in the business delivery, Leads and provides senior level billing expertise for the ministry. Ensures approved timber pricing policies are analyzed and solutions devised to enable the implementation of the new pricing policies in these systems. The analysis is carried out by translating policy changes and mandates to a wide range of forest industry/business factors, providing specific direction for workflows, processes, Production Control and IM/IT Business Support staff.

**Job Requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, (i.e., Natural Resource Management, Computer Sciences, Data Science, etc.) with two (2) years related experience; **OR**:

- Diploma in a related field (i.e., Natural Resource Management, Information Technology, etc.) and five (5) years related experience; **OR**:

- Experience managing and organizing concurrent projects while taking into consideration changing priorities and deadlines, emerging issues, and impacts of decisions.
- Experience leading diverse teams of administrative, technical and professional staff including developing and evaluating performance goals, coaching, team building, and mentoring.
- one or more years of supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Timber Pricing systems, providing guidance, monitoring, and validating data fixes.
- Experience with Oracle and SQL databases, table structures, data types and query languages
- Advanced experience or formal training in advanced structured Query Language (SQL)
- Experience in the use of support software such as XML spy and SQL Developer.
