**The Role**:
Your other talents include strong business writing, top-notch collaboration skills and a proven ability to coordinate internal resources who have limited time and competing priorities. Fluency in both official languages and experience working in small to medium non-profit environments would be advantageous assets as there will be limited staff resources available to support the work administratively. This position will report to the Director of Finance, HR and Administration/CFO.

**The responsibilities you’ll be trusted with include**:

- Performing a high-level analysis and mapping of key business processes in Finance, Human Resources and IT to determine documentation requirements.
- Verifying and documenting which operational procedures do not reflect current business process state.
- Revising and/or creating various types of documentation, including operational procedures, manuals, visual job aids, forms, and tip sheets.
- Providing recommendations on the most effective ways to publish procedures that maximize productivity through the coordination of discovery meetings with SMEs.
- Documenting future state process efficiency ideas and/or solutions for further exploration where feasible.

**About Us**:
Service Coordination Support (SCS) is the initial contact for individuals who have a developmental disability or autism in the Ottawa and the Eastern Region. We help people find the supports and services in the community that are needed to assist them in their daily lives. One of our important goals is to empower families/individuals to make informed choices about the supports they seek.

**Location & commitments**:

- This is a full-time contract, role.
- The expected date of completion of this engagement is May 31, 2024 with an anticipated start date of August 30, 2023.
- Work can be completed remotely.

**What you bring**:

- ** Language Profile**: English Essential. Fluency in both official languages is a strong asset.
- ** Education**: A bachelor’s degree in technical writing, administration, computer science, computer/process engineering or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- ** Skills**:

- Effective report writing and presentation delivery, along with demonstrated analytical skills in optimizing business processes and identifying options and recommendations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to a professional work ethic, working cooperatively and collaboratively with internal and external customers, clients, and partners while demonstrating compassion and a strong customer/client focus.
- Experience conducting effective virtual and hybrid meetings.
- Self-direction with superior organizational, attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong communication and conflict management skills.
- Previous experience in a non-profit environment is a strong asset.
- Proficiency with change management tools and techniques.
