**Responsibilities could include but are not limited to**:

- The Contractor’s resource will perform tasks in support of the LEMS publications. These tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

- Review applicable DND, CAF, Joint and Army publications applicable to the function of the LEMS at the strategic, operational and tactical levels. If new or revised non-LEMS publications are made available, the TA will provide the most recent version to the Contractor’s resource who must review the new reference in order to identify any changes to policies and doctrine that could impact LEMS policy or procedures.
- Review and be familiar with existing policy and procedures regarding LEMS. Review includes but may not be limited to:
Ø In the cases where publications are no longer officially in effect, use the rescinded information as a start state for new publication;
Ø Identify existing content that remains valid and can be incorporated directly into new publications;
Ø Identify content that has been superseded by other directives or orders and which does not need to be carried forward into new publications;
Ø Promptly notify the TA of any inaccurate or inadequate information identified, or of any information that is inconsistent with the content of the affected publication; and

Ø Suggest amendments to the Publications Framework when a change is recommended.
- Under the direction of the Senior Technical Writer, write and maintain all LEMS publications IAW LEMS Publications Framework contained at Appendix 1:

- Participate in WG meetings via VTC as requested by the TA or Senior Technical Writer in order to provide an update on the status of publications work as well as to gather input and feedback pertaining to LEMS practices and the content of publications.
- Participate in quarterly task review meetings to review progress of the work being conducted when requested by the Technical Authority. Quarterly task reviews will not exceed four (4) per year.
- Assist the TA in maintaining the LEMS publication database website with the most up-to-date publication information.

**Skills/Experience Required**:

- A minimum of 1 years of experience with:

- Writing technical manuals;
- Equipment Management Policies;
- Military Doctrine.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 210 days

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

**Experience**:

- Writing Tech manuals: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Must hold a valid security clearance (required)
