Job Responsibilities
- Executes company strategy for managing talent within the Canada BU through defined initiatives. Makes recommendations for talent management strategy and processes within Canada to ensure that we have a deep understanding of the talent we have & need for the future.
- Works with the local people managers to analyze and track the results of our internal succession planning (organizational & people review). Trains people managers, assists in the facilitation of sessions & implementing action plans.
- Assists in executing the annual plan for learning to ensure our global learning and leadership strategy is achieved.
- Manages existing people cycle processes & programs; makes recommendations/changes where appropriate to ensure they are aligned with company strategy & targets.
- Assists with setting the overall recruitment agenda for Canada by assisting with setting policies and standards and helping to manage the overall recruitment process.
- Develop and implement programs to ensure we acquire adequate talent such as GMT and co-op/internship programs.
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
- University degree. Preference is focus on human resources management and/or CHRP designation. MBA and Masters degree, an asset
- 3-5 years experience in HR. HR generalist background a plus
- Bilingual (French and English), an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence others; analytical & problem solving skills
