**The role**:
The Talent Development Manager (Regional Academy Lead) designs and implements the framework for Academy Programs and upskilling programs to support talent development within our organization. They also support the delivery of the Talent Development functional goals which includes supporting training delivery and strategic projects on an ad-hoc basis. The Talent Development Manager (Global Programs) works closely with the Talent Acquisition Team, HR Business Partners, Performance Managers and Functional Leaders to ensure the smooth global administration and delivery of Academy programs and other Learning and Development curriculums / interventions with the goal of driving colleague engagement, improving capability and enhancing career mobility.

***The role could be located either in Toronto, Canada or Monterrey, Mexico**

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Raising requisitions for Academies in region
- Support the dedicated Talent Acquisition Recruiter with the assessment and selection process of Academy hires
- Organizing the Training Curriculum for the Academy in partnership with the Talent Development Academy Administrator(s)
- Work with the Talent Development Academy Administrator(s) to organize AMS equipment for Academy hires in line with start dates
- Delivery of training including in-person and virtual / remote training
- Managing Global Virtual Trainer pool / Subject Matter Experts to support training delivery and role play activities
- Maintaining and updating training content / modules
- Line Management of Trainees for the duration of the initial training period of the Academy
- Liaising with the Talent Development Manager (Global Programs) to determine Trainee assignments
- Organize and host the Graduation Ceremony for Trainees at the end of the initial training period
- Manage the transition of Trainees to their assignments including hosting information sessions regarding next steps for Trainees and Line Managers as well as managing the Workday transfer process and costing allocation
- Working with the Talent Development Academy Administrator(s) to send the training evaluation survey to Trainees

**Skills & Experience**:

- Strong partnering skills and making things happen through others
- Experience with bespoke course content design
- Experience of virtual/remote and in-person training content design and delivery
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to measure success and / or to identify areas for improvement
- Experience of liaising with Senior Leadership to establish and build effective relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Project management skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages and functionality, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Passion for growing individuals through a high-performance culture
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- **Attendance in the office is required (3-4 days a week)**
