**Position Overview**:
As a Solar Sales Representative at Firefly Solar Inc, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to bring solar energy to homes and businesses across Western Canada. Your primary responsibilities will include generating leads for our closing team, engaging with potential customers face-to-face, and capturing essential data through photographs of electrical systems for analysis by our engineering team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Lead Generation**:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, door-to-door visits, and participation in community events.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective strategies for lead generation and conversion.

**Customer Engagement**:
Build and maintain positive relationships with potential customers by understanding their energy needs and providing information on Firefly Solar Inc's products and services.
Conduct in-person consultations and presentations to effectively communicate the benefits of solar energy solutions.

**Photography and Documentation**:
Capture detailed photographs of existing electrical systems during site visits.
Ensure accurate and high-quality documentation of electrical infrastructure, conveying this information to the engineering team for analysis and system design.

**Collaboration with Engineering**:
Work closely with the engineering team to relay crucial data and photos, aiding in the design and customization of solar energy systems.
Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions to enhance product development and service offerings.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in the renewable energy or technology sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in documentation and photography.
- Familiarity with solar energy systems and basic understanding of electrical infrastructure.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
