**Position Overview**

ABC Security is hiring a Customer Service Representative to manage customer queries and requests. You will also be asked to process orders, modifications, and escalate issues across a number of communication channels.

The Customer Service Representative reports to the V.P. of Sales and Marketing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **General Customer Service**_
- Greet and serve customers who visit ABC Security’s showroom.
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding products, services, and inquiries.
- Escalate any requests or issues to the appropriate staff member as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service on behalf of ABC Security.
- **Order Entry and Order Management**_
- Input work orders into ABC Security’s software, seeking clarification from customers as needed.
- Collaborate with various internal departments (ex. purchasing, inventory, service, etc.), to ensure that customers receive their products and services on time and within budget.
- Work with suppliers when special parts or custom solutions are required to fulfill work orders.
- Communicate effectively with customers throughout the work order process; keep customers informed of the status of their job.

- Continuously improve product knowledge in order to better assist customers.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Key Requirements**
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Highly detail-oriented individual.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate in general.
- Must be willing and eager to learn.

**Experience**
- Previous customer service experience is required, previous customer service experience in an integrated security systems company is preferred.

**Working Conditions**
- This is an in-office position (spending extended amount of time sitting at a desk, using the computer, telephone, etc.).
- ABC Security’s offices are located at 55 Queen’s Plate Drive, Etobicoke, ON M9W 6P2.

**Hours of Work**
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Overtime may be required from time to time.

**Position Type**
- Permanent
- Full Time (40 hours per week)

**Compensation**
- $40,000 to $50,000 per year (Commensurate with experience)
- Group health benefits
- 5 paid personal days per year
